What Are the Application Fees and Screening Criteria?

There is a $45 nonrefundable application fee for all applicants, valid debit or credit card is required to complete fee. You may review our complete rental screening policy and begin your application via the ‘Apply Now’ button on any of the apartments listed at copenhagenenterprises.com/rental listings. From there it takes just a few simple steps to complete and submit the application to us online.

All applications must be accompanied by copies of a valid photo ID and proof of income. Applicants must have a documented household income of three (3) times the apartment rent. We do not have a minimum numerical credit score, but screen for any pattern of judgments or collections. Records of crimes against person or property may prevent an application from being approved, as may any money owed to a previous landlord, or any record of an eviction action against an applicant. What do I need in order to submit my application?

Picture ID
Proof of income (paystubs for 2 most recent, consecutive paystubs, tax returns, 1099, or other proof of income).

How much is my deposit going to be?

The security deposit is typically equal to one month’s rent. A larger deposit may be required based on the application screening results. For example if you do not have any rental history we will require a double deposit or a co-signer.

What is the occupancy limits per unit

Please note that we have a one person occupancy limit on our studio, a two person limit on a one bedroom and 3 person limit on two bedroom. These limits include any person 1 year of age or older.

What is the initial lease term?

We offer a year lease to start.

What are my options for shorter lease terms?

After you initial lease term we do offer other shorter lease term options, you can choose to do a month to month, 6 moth or 9 month lease at an extra charge per month.

What amenities do you offer and what’s included in my rent?

For all of our apartments, we pay for heat, water, trash, and recycling. You as the tenant would be responsible for electricity, and any optional internet, phone, or cable service. Our buildings are outfitted for Comcast, Century Link, and in most buildings, US Internet Fiber Optic. Rent may be paid online via electronic check with no convenience fee.

Can I have a pet in my unit?

Yes, for dogs, we charge a $200 non-refundable pet fee due at move in and $30 per month in pet rent; for cats, $100 at move in and $15 per month. Tenants may keep a maximum of one dog and two pets total in the apartment. We have no size or weight limits, but restrict the following dog breeds: American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire or Pit Bull Terrier, Canary Mastiff/Presa Canario, Bull Mastiff, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Akita, and any wolf hybrids. Mixes of the aforementioned breeds are also restricted.

MANAGEMENT will not give its consent for rodent pets such as mice, ferrets or rats to be kept in the Apartment. MANAGEMENT will not give its consent for protective or aggressive dog breeds such as Staffordshire or ‘Pit Bull’ Terrier, Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, Bull Mastiff or Akita to be kept in the Apartment.

The maximum number of number of dogs to be kept in the Apartment shall be ONE. The maximum total number of Pets to be kept in the Apartment shall be TWO.

Is there Laundry onsite?

Yes, laundry rooms are located in the basement of all our buildings, most machines use a credit card and only a few building still operate with coins. BDS Laundry services all the machines and credit card inquiries you may have for the laundry related transactions.

Is there storage in the buildings?

Yes, most of our buildings do offer storage at an extra charge of $10 per month.

Can I store my bike on site?

Yes, most of our buildings do offer a bike storage room. We ask that you lock your bike at all times.

Can I smoke in my apartment?

No, all our buildings are SMOKE FREE.

Is there parking on site?

Street parking with a permit from the city is available. With a few limited locations we do have assigned parking on a waiting list.

Can I submit work orders online?

Yes, via the online tenant portal.

Can I pay rent online?

Yes, rent may be paid online via electronic check with no convenience fee.
