Loring Park Neighborhood

The Loring Park neighborhood is bordered by I-94 to the south, Hennepin/Lyndale Avenues to the west, Hawthorne Avenue to the north and 12th Street to the northeast. The neighborhood is one that can truly be called diverse in many ways and is unique in its acceptance of all lifestyles. Adjacent to the world-class Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Loring Park is home to the Basilica of St. Mary, the Minneapolis Community and Technical College, the Minneapolis Convention Center, and culinary institutions like P.S. Steak and Bar Lurcat. Loring Park itself is centered around a beautiful pond and wetland area that contains extensive pedestrian and cycling paths. The park is also home to major cultural and seasonal events like Holidazzle and the Twin Cities Pride festival.
